por Expríncipe Carlos de Gales es el nuevo Rey del Reino Unido
Londres.- Tras la muerte de la Reina Isabel II, Carlos de Gales es el nuevo Rey del Reino Unido.
Previamente y por redes sociales, la Familia Real señaló el nuevo Rey y la Reina Consorte -Camilla Duquesa de Cornualles- permanecerán en Balmoral esta noche y regresarán a Londres mañana.
Tras la muerte de Isabel II en su castillo de Balmoral, Escocia, Carlos de Gales se convirtió automáticamente en el nuevo monarca.
Cabe señalar que Carlos emitió su primer mensaje como Rey:
“A statement from His Majesty The King:
The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family.
We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother. I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.
During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which The Queen was so widely held.”
“La muerte de mi amada madre, su majestad la reina, es un momento de mayor tristeza para mí y todos los miembros de mi familia.
Lamentamos profundamente el fallecimiento de una querida soberana y una muy querida madre. Sé que su pérdida se sentirá profundamente en todo el país, los reinos y la mancomunidad, y por incontables personas en todo el mundo.
Durante este período de duelo y cambio, mi familia y yo estaremos consolados y sostenidos por nuestro conocimiento del respeto y profundo afecto en el que la Reina fue ampliamente sostenida.)
