Cient\u00edficos de Rusia aportan hoy nuevos par\u00e1metros y tecnolog\u00eda de monitoreo que podr\u00eda revolucionar mecanismos de previsi\u00f3n y ayudar a salvar miles de vidas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seg\u00fan datos abiertos, solo en 2018 se registraron m\u00e1s de cinco mil v\u00edctimas mortales por esa causa. El problema, como ocurri\u00f3 en California, es que los terremotos sorprenden a los especialistas que no esperaban que los sismos se produjeran en esa zona.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Samvel Akopi\u00e1n, director general del Centro internacional de monitoreo global y pron\u00f3stico del clima s\u00edsmico, investigador principal del Centro de Coordinaci\u00f3n y Pron\u00f3stico del Instituto de F\u00edsica de la Tierra, de la Academia de Ciencias de Rusia, comparti\u00f3 con Sputnik los principios de la tecnolog\u00eda que ya present\u00f3 en Madrid, Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Hemos presentado la tecnolog\u00eda de monitoreo global y pron\u00f3stico meteorol\u00f3gico s\u00edsmico basado en el m\u00e9todo de entrop\u00eda s\u00edsmica. Sobre la base de los datos de sismicidad d\u00e9bil, que se registra en todo el mundo, es posible monitorear y pronosticar la situaci\u00f3n en cualquier regi\u00f3n del mundo&#8221;, coment\u00f3 Akopi\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Su programa considera par\u00e1metros con los que todav\u00eda no trabajan los sism\u00f3logos: coordenadas, tiempo y energ\u00eda, y que permiten pronosticar futuros terremotos. &#8220;De hecho, es un nuevo alfabeto, sobre la base del cual es posible descifrar informaci\u00f3n que no puede ser vista a trav\u00e9s de los m\u00e9todos comunes&#8221;, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para lograrlo, &#8220;he introducido la ley de la entrop\u00eda s\u00edsmica que permite seleccionar correctamente el volumen dentro de la Tierra, donde las sismicidades d\u00e9bil y fuerte est\u00e1n interconectadas, para registrar un estado cr\u00edtico&#8221;, detall\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De acuerdo con Akopi\u00e1n, del 100 por ciento de los terremotos potencialmente peligrosos que est\u00e1n en los \u00faltimos mapas de pron\u00f3stico, su tecnolog\u00eda permite destacar el dos por ciento que son \u00e1reas verdaderamente peligrosas. &#8220;Todos los sism\u00f3logos juegan a las damas, a m\u00ed se me ocurri\u00f3 el ajedrez&#8221;, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Asegura haber pronosticado el terremoto en Jap\u00f3n en 2011 y el de Turqu\u00eda de ese mismo a\u00f1o. Por ahora hace pron\u00f3sticos oficiales solo en el territorio de Rusia, donde desde 2011 ha pronosticado 11 sismos, incluido el de Tuv\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pero la metodolog\u00eda tambi\u00e9n comprende ciertos errores. As\u00ed, no pudo pronosticar el segundo sismo que se produjo en Tuv\u00e1 dos meses m\u00e1s tarde.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seg\u00fan Akopi\u00e1n, los terremotos en California son solo el principio de la actividad s\u00edsmica en esa zona. &#8220;Estos terremotos han cambiado la situaci\u00f3n s\u00edsmica y nos permiten recalcular d\u00f3nde y cu\u00e1ndo exactamente habr\u00e1 un terremoto m\u00e1s fuerte&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Asegura que &#8220;La falla de San Andr\u00e9s, donde los sism\u00f3logos estadounidenses han esperado durante mucho tiempo un terremoto m\u00e1s fuerte, est\u00e1 cerrada. Y el terremoto est\u00e1 migrando a la falla de Ventura que va a lo largo del norte de Los \u00c1ngeles en direcci\u00f3n a Santa B\u00e1rbara\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De acuerdo con sus pron\u00f3sticos, \u201cser\u00e1 de una magnitud 7.8-7.9, el mecanismo es vertical y ocurrir\u00e1 dentro de dos a\u00f1os, antes de junio de 2021&#8243;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Akopi\u00e1n advirti\u00f3 adem\u00e1s que conforme a sus f\u00f3rmulas Espa\u00f1a y Portugal tambi\u00e9n corren riesgo de sufrir un terremoto en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Todo el mundo conoce el famoso terremoto de Lisboa en el Oc\u00e9ano Atl\u00e1ntico en 1755, a 150 km de la costa de Portugal. Ahora este centro ha acumulado energ\u00eda, y en un plazo de cuatro a cinco a\u00f1os pronosticamos que en la costa de Espa\u00f1a, en el \u00e1rea de Gibraltar a Portugal, habr\u00e1 un tsunami, as\u00ed como en la costa sudoeste de Portugal. Otro foco son las islas Azores&#8221;, precis\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adem\u00e1s, pronostic\u00f3 que en los pr\u00f3ximos dos o tres a\u00f1os hay riesgo de un terremoto en la costa este de Taiw\u00e1n. Y entre las \u00e1reas densamente pobladas, mencion\u00f3 el territorio a 150 km de Pek\u00edn, donde se puede esperar un terremoto de magnitud 7.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A pesar de que los desarrolladores est\u00e1n seguros de que su tecnolog\u00eda funciona, lo m\u00e1s complicado es convencer a los dem\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Todos creen que es imposible pronosticar [sismos]. Tenemos una tecnolog\u00eda ya hecha que se puede aplicar y que, en ciertos casos, puede salvar vidas. Uno de cada tres a cinco terremotos se puede predecir&#8221;, dijo Akopi\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adem\u00e1s de pronosticar los sismos, el especialista considera que te\u00f3ricamente \u201cLas armas s\u00edsmicas son posibles, pero hasta el momento el nivel de conocimiento no permite fabricarlas.
